Pick Up and Return Times
As with a luxury hotel room, each Great Alaskan Holidays motorhome is completely serviced between rentals. In addition to being thoroughly cleaned by our housekeeping staff, each motorhome receives a forty-one point maintenance and safety inspection. Virtually all of our clients staying in hotels want their motorhome as early as possible. Every effort will be made to make your motorhome available to you as early as possible. While some motorhomes may be scheduled for pick up between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., you should use the following vehicle pick up hours for planning your vacation: Pick up times are determined by motorhome availability, and will be scheduled between 11:00 a.m. and no later than 6:15 p.m., with most pick up times between 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The last orientation will begin no later than 6:15 p.m. Return Time |

If your travel times require, you may return the motorhome earlier than your scheduled return time. For returns, our gate is unlocked at 6:55 a.m. and our office opens at 7:00 a.m. Our administrative and service offices open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. Arrangements can be made in advance, on a limited basis, for customers with late flight arrivals or early departures to spend the night in the motorhome at our 9800 Old Seward Highway facility. Courtesy Van Service To assist your trip planning, the hours for our courtesy van service when picking up your motorhome are from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30* p.m. The hours for the courtesy van service when returning your motorhome are from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We are unable to transport children in our Courtesy Van under the age of four or under 40 pounds (18.2 kg) without the proper customer-provided child safety device. If a child is less than four years of age, the child must be properly secured in a child safety device meeting the standards of the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) for a child safety device for infants. Note, infants aged from birth to at least one year of age (or until they weigh 20 pounds) are required to be placed in a rear-facing child safety device meeting USDOT standards before moving to a forward-facing USDOT approved car seat or booster seat (whichever is appropriate), which they can stay in until they are about age four (or 40 pounds). Again, you must provide these devices, as Great Alaskan Holidays, Inc. does not provide child safety devices for infants or children. If you do not have the proper child safety device with you, you will need to provide your own transportation to and from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. Most taxi services do provide a child safety device in the taxi. *NOTE: Although we will pick you up at the airport if you have your luggage and call us by 6:29 pm, you must be at our front desk no later than 6:15 p.m. to begin your orientation to drive away in the motorhome that evening. If you are delayed from arriving by 6:15 p.m. you will automatically become an After Hours Pick Up.
