Better Service:
We were first to say “We do the cleaning.” Your are not expected to clean your hotel room and make the beds before you check out. We asked ourselves, “why should a motorhome rental company demand you clean their motorhome, do the dishes, make the beds, and dump the holding tanks before checkout or pay a large cleaning charge?” Many rental companies still require client cleaning to avoid penalties for not returning the motorhome clean.
We were first to offer Brand name cookware and hotel-quality linens in standardized packages. When our clients receive their Welcome Passport that lists the items in their housekeeping and linen packages, they are amazed.
We were first to offer free items like lawn chairs, TV/DVD players, coffee makers, and ice chests. Many rental companies still charge a fee for these items.
We were first to offer free use of the generator. Most rental companies still charge for use of the generator.
We provide quality brochures about your Alaska Motorhome Vacation from Great Alaskan Holidays, and a modern, easy-to-navigate web site.
Better Motorhomes:
We were first to standardize our fleet of motorhomes so “The floorplan you choose is the floorplan you receive.” We own all of the motorhomes we rent and never offer leaseback rv's. We purchase from only one manufacturer, Winnebago Industries, where the motorhome is built to our specifications for Alaska and for our clients. No other motorhome rental company provides this level of quality.
We were first to achieve and maintain the prestigious status of Ford Warranty Station. Great Alaskan Holidays is one of only three (3) companies in Alaska, and the only motorhome rental company, that has been awarded (and maintained) this prestigious status. With Ford Factory training, the latest diagnostic equipment, and Online Ford access, our certified technicians give each vehicle a thorough 41-point maintenance inspection before every rental.
Better Value:
We do not pay commissions to agencies. The 10% or 20% commission that other motorhome rental companies pay to agencies means they have even less money to put toward quality products and services for clients. As we've demonstrated, we invest that 20% and much more in quality facilities, motorhomes, products, and services for our clients.
